Larry founded HeartcoR Solutions in 2015, following the merger and sale of eCardio/Preventice Solutions to Sequoia Capital, Merck, and Boston Scientific Corporation. Prior to HeartcoR, Larry grew eCardio/Preventice into one of the largest patient monitoring companies in the United States. Larry is also the Founder and Chairman of Proxima Clinical Research, M1 Med Tech, and LaWaLa Capital based in Houston, TX. Larry currently serves on the boards of CorMedica, Artella, and the TMC Venture Fund, and previously served on the Board of Goose Capital, Saranas, Velentium, Decisio Health, and many other companies. Larry received an Honorary Doctorate from Lamar University, and is the 2018 recipient of the HORATIO ALGER AWARD.

John Icardi,

He has previously served as VP of Marketing for Edward Weck & Company, and in 2000 created medical device and business consulting company SBW Inc. Recently, John launched medical device startup consulting company Egress Consultants. John was a founding team member for three medical device start-ups and previously represented two physician-specialty organizations. In the medical device market, John has successfully raised debt and equity capital, participated in medical device turnaround teams, built and operated direct and distributor sales forces and marketing teams, and led multiple strategic planning projects.

Prior to joining HeartcoR, Dennis served as a representative of the Cardiovascular Interdisciplinary Scientific Advisory Group at a large pharmaceutical company. Dennis regularly works across pre-clinical and clinical research settings, including translational medicine, medical and scientific affairs, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, information technology, quality assurance, and non-scientific business strategy functional areas. Dennis holds a Master of Science in Physiology and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering, with an emphasis in Bioinformatics.

Forough Fariborzi,

Forough Fariborzi is a results-driven quality management systems expert with more than 25 years experience in regulated industries.

She joined HeartcoR in 2021 as senior director of quality and compliance, bringing with her extensive technical knowledge and experience implementing quality management systems. Prior to her current position, Forough worked with medical device and other companies as the principle QMS consultant. She earned a master’s degree in material engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Most recently, Susan built the training practice at e3 Diagnostics, an industry leader in hearing healthcare. She’s also presented at Chicago-area learning conferences. Susan’s natural sense of curiosity, innovative spirit, and interest in others’ success benefits her organization, business partners, and colleagues.
