Sales Development Representative

Amanda Yates has over 10 years of experience in sales and client relationship building. Amanda joined HeartcoR Solutions in June 2024 and is responsible for supporting the business development team, bringing efficiency to conversations and expanding HeartcoR Solutions’ market presence. Amanda has found success working with C-level executives at Fortune 100 companies, internal and external stakeholders, and end users, thanks to her personalized approach to communication and focused action plans. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in integrated studies. She also completed the Women in Leadership program from Cornell University, and obtained a certificate for post crisis management from the University of South Florida.

What is your role at HeartcoR Solutions?
My primary roles is to support the Business Development team in shortening the time it takes to convert a prospect to a customer. This encompasses activities that promote brand recognition and strengthen industry relationships.

Why do you like working at HeartcoR Solutions?
The team and company as a whole are industry subject matter experts that have a real passion for the work we do at HeartcoR Solutions. The passion and excitement internally translates to the services we provide our customers. We get to play a small part in the very important work our customers are doing.


What special skill or perspective do you bring to your job? (For example, do you speak multiple languages, are you a project management pro, do you excel at creative problem solving?)
I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse book of business over my career. What this has allowed me to do is take an individualized approach to communication and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders. I’m very strategy and process oriented, which I believe will lend itself to the state of growth HeartcoR Solutions is in.


What was your dream job as a child?
My dream job varied pretty vastly when I was a child and even well into my college years. The commonality in all my dreams were getting to work with people.
What would people be surprised to learn about you? (For example, do you run marathons, have you travelled the world, do you have a special talent or hobby?).
People are generally surprised to learn I am an introvert at heart and I have several tattoos.


Who inspires you and why?
My brother has three kids – they are these incredible little people who are growing into big people with their own personalities, view points, dreams, fears…they’ve really inspired me in so many ways to keep learning and have challenged me to grow in ways I don’t think would be on my radar without them.


What do you like to do in your free time?
I liked to read, go to the beach, travel and be with friends and family.


How has working for HeartcoR influenced your view of healthcare?
I’ve learned that I have a lot to learn about healthcare. There is so much good being done but so much work still to do.

Is there a lesson you’ve learned from your teammates that you carry with you every day?
I work on a team of supportive, communicative and curious people. They make work fun and I’m so appreciative of that.
